"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

San O Summer starts

One of the best things about Summer arriving is San O! We kicked it off earlier this month, and it happened to be a real stormy day out on the waters that made that waves at San O unusually large. They said it got to ten feet, thats REAL BIG (as it says on the sign below) for this beach!
You can't even really tell in the photos, but it was really fun to watch in person!
First feets in the sand of the summer!
Feels so good!
Dad out surfing

Brody and AD taking a photo to send to the parents : )

I love this pic! : )

So apparently it was National Donut day....it was all over Facebook and Instagram. As the day went on our donuts cravings were huge, and we both had the idea of taking them down to the beach for everyone. Donuts on the beach are actually really good! .....I could go for that maple bar right now! ; )

One of my favorite views

Back at the ballpark!

Everyone was rushing to get to the entrance (including me), then I noticed that Brody wasn't with me anymore. He had noticed the National anthem was being sung, and stopped to turn his attention to the flag...and then everyone around us stopped and followed. I love how patriotic he has always been, and that he was such a good example of it here. : )
Todays view : )

Our new favorite ballpark nut : )
Some good home runs this game, but still not enough to win it. Still so exciting though!

: )
Brody wanted to get in a game before he went to Dallas, and when I found this game, I didn't see till later that it started at 4pm! So we were in the warm sun for awhile, it felt so good, but called for some ice cream! : )

More homers! : )

LOVE these next two photos : )

It's the best when the little Rally Monkey comes out

Another fun night at the BIG A!!

Splash Mountain Walk-off

We went to the parks to meet up with our radio DJ friend Maverick, who was in town from OR. When you are a pass holder, you come to realize that things pretty much always go smoothly on the rides...and you start to wonder what it looks like "backstage". They only way to see this besides working there, is a walk-off...where the ride breaks down, and you get to walk out of the ride from where you are. It's just fun to experience something different and new. : )
The stuck logs behind us
and in front of us
Everyone out of the logs waiting to walk out
Us on the sidelines of Splash
The walls inside are SO soft and squishy!
Walking right by the animatronics

Security cameras
Walking down the stairs from the logs

Under the ride
Waiting to exit and get out fastpass return tickets
The exit we came out of
And heres the little video I made with the video and photos we had. We had been wanting to try out the GoPro on this ride..so glad we brought it that day to get this. Oh...and they said not to take photos of the walk off, so we had to be sneaky about it. Enjoy!! : )

Visiting the hidden Pet Cemetery on the side of the Haunted Mansion!

Our friend took this for us...I love it
On Haunted Mansion! This cracks me up, I love it so much.

I got Wazowski'd on Space Mountain by that cute little boy. Haha...

I got my 2nd round at being the Rebel Spy on Star Tours!! : )
Such a fun day!

Sea World!!!

On Friday I drove Brody down to San Diego for some work appointments. I love tagging along with him to SD, it's a pretty drive and it's always fun to spend the day together. : ) Well, this time, he surprised me with the idea of stopping at Sea World after the appointments! I was SO excited! It had been awhile since the last time we were at Sea World. So many fun memories here, I just love this place so much!
The polar bear habitat....I have yet to see a bear out and about here. I saw part of a sleeping bear once, haha...
For some reason, one of my favorite things at SW is this ice wall!! Such a cool feature!

Brody being a goof...seriously love him SO much!! : )

The Penguins are my favorite part (besides feeding the seals...and others things) I was dying laughing at how they "run", and leaving them Brody came up with his own penguin run...SO great! It's the best thing ever! haha...

I have always loved this show! : ) Otters and Seals doing comedy...nothing could be better!
: )

I'm a Disneyland ride kind of girl. Brody was totally all go for this, and I was a little freaked, haha. Its just the unknown I guess....but it was a total blast! Can't wait to ride current again! : )

Shamu!

Getting up close with the Shamu's
(are they all named Shamu? I don't know?)

So pretty to watch them : )

SUCH a fun day, and the BEST surprise!!! We are excited to head back this summer! : )
