"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Two more weeks!!

As major Disneyland fans, it has always been a dream of ours to get into the exclusive Club 33. It is a members only club inside of New Orleans Square. Rumor has it, the wait list to get on the wait list to join is somewhere around tens years, the fees to join are something like twenty thousand entry and ten thousand a year after that, and a member has to make the reservations for you---it is not open to the public. It has a rich history in Disneyland and has some interesting elements inside of it that add to it (which I will go over more after our visit). If you're interested in more detail, click here  : )

We were invited to the club once before, but it was for a Sunday Brunch. As most of you who follow our blog know, we are LDS and it is very important to us to keep the Sabbath day holy as we are asked to. We find that as we keep it separate from our normal days of the week, attend church, serve in our callings and abstain from normal recreation, that it really is such a blessing and brings so much peace throughout the week. With this in mind, we declined the offer to Club 33 at that time. Declining was a little tough,  its pretty rare that you get an offer to go to the club and we didn't know if we would ever get one again. But something in the back of my mind said we would be blessed for the choice we made  and that someday we would have the opportunity to go again. Plus, there is no way we would have enjoyed ourselves on a Sunday.

Fast forward almost two years and we got our Saturday offer!!! Several weeks ago we got an extremely  kind offer from a friend of ours to make a lunch date reservation for Brody and I. I was SOOOOO excited!!  We get to have the ultimate (and romantic) Disney date, just the two of us! We get to walk up to the door, ring the bell, give our last name and enter! : ) I am so grateful for even these small acts of faith, that our testimonies are such that nether of us would have felt comfortable doing that kind of activity on a Sunday.....and now we get to fully enjoy our Saturday visit!! : )

See you soon Club 33!! : )

>O SeaLife O<

During the long Fourth of July weekend we went down to the SeaLife aquarium at Legoland, which we have wanted to explore for a long time now. We love aquariums, and ended up being in here for about 3 hours, haha. : )
The aquarium is really cute. It's a bit smaller than ones we have been to, but they have some beautiful displays and the added Lego elements are so fun to see! We have a mix of our big camera and iPhone photos below, and Brody actually took most of these. It was such a blast to explore! Enjoy the endless string of aquarium photos... ; )

I found the Starfish from Finding Nemo! ; )

There were all these little areas were you could sort of put yourself into the aquarium...so fun!

The Lego chocolate was pretty cute!
He looked really hungry! haha ; )
Such a fun day!

Monstrous Day

This Saturday we had planned on seeing Monsters University. We thought it would be fun to make a day of it and take advantage of all the Monsters fun that Disneyland offers right now. : )

We started off with lunch, trying out their special menu items for the movie. They were actually really good!

Then we hopped across the street, grabbed ourselves a bench and waited a bit for the parade to come by...
This is Mikes 1-2 Punch. Sprite and Granny Smith Apple flavoring, with a light up ice cube.

The first part of the Pixar Play Parade is all Monsters U themed. It's really cute!

I love Squishy! : )

We got to the photo spot just in time to see Sully leave and get first place in line for Mike : )
Heres our improvised photo opt with Sully, haha! : )
Mike!

The CM said she couldn't help but to take this photo, haha.
Heading into the ride!

Being a huge fan of the movie, I've always loved this ride. And the lines are usually nice and short, but with the new movie out, the lines have been so long! Kinda funny how that is...
"I'm watching...always, watching..."

I've seen photos of this 'Dancin' with Disney' event they do back by Monsters and Muppets, and we were finally there while it was going on. It is SO cute!! Just a big room with a DJ, lot's of dancing characters and big chairs a sofas around the room.
I was so excited to see Marie! I loved that movie so much as a kid. : )
These two are always hilarious! In the last photo the pink one saw Brody with the camera and blew him a kiss, then the green one acted jealous, haha...
Upon leaving the park, we noticed that there was a big Hawaiian festival going on. With bands, dancers, vendors and our favorite shave ice truck!! So we grabbed some shave ice before heading into the movie! : )

SUCH a fun Saturday! : )
