Hawaii this year was epic. It was everything you want and need a vacation to be (and more)---super relaxing, fun, memorable and hard to re-cap it in all it's glory. After what was one of the best and smoothest flights I have been on, we landed in the cute little Kaua'i airport and headed off on our tropical adventure! : )
Our first stop ended up being lunch at Dukes.
Just standing there on the beach, with the warm fragrant Hawaiian breeze, listening to the ocean and rustle of the palm trees...an ocean away from traffic and the hustle of "mainland" life...we all immediately slipped into relaxed vacation mood.
This was our view from the condo. It had huge windows all around so you could get great views of the ocean and beach.

The big blow hole. The waves were pretty big that day, so the blow hole was at it's best!

We were driving back from the blow hole and came across this beautiful overlook...I think it was called 'Fish Pond'. Later we read that it is one of the best places to catch the sunset...and it really was!
We found this really cool cave along our drive and got out to explore...
On our drive we found this beautiful beach, so we stopped off to enjoy it!
We took this on Brody's iPhone....I love how the cloud by his head kind of looks like a heart. : ) Such a beautiful beach, look at how crystal blue the water is and the sand was so soft!!

We went to this truck on our last trip here too. It's so good!
Our resort had the worlds best pool! Most of it was a lazy river, winding around with water falls, and caves, water slides, sandy bottom hot tubes! It was the best and we had SO much fun here!

In here we found a ball from the course we played on Maui last year...that was kinda fun!
