Fall at the parks


On this date night we tried their limited time Jack Skellington burger for Halloween time at Carnation Cafe, it was pretty good. And of course, we have to get their fried pickles...amazing! : ) 

Did Haunted Mansion Holiday, our favorite this time of year! And it's last day is my birthday this year. : ) 

Brody loves when we get this one at the end, with the little spooks that pop up! : ) 

We tried out the new Starbucks on Main Street that had just opened this week. So fun to get some of our favorite drinks and have such a great view of Main Street going by.

We stopped by the Court of Angels, before it closed forever to be taken over by Club 33. 
Walking through the castle, we thought, we never sit on the bridge in those little benches. So we did! haha. We sat there for a little while with a pretty great view. : ) 
The park was a little crowded, so we headed to Storybook Land and took a nice peaceful cruise to finish off the night.

SoCal Livin'

We had a family friend visiting from Australia, Mom and I took her to lunch one day and showed her around the town a little. It was the PERFECT day to do such a thing, warm, sunny blue skye and no crowds! And I realized a little more, just how lucky we are to live where we do! It's just beautiful!!

Tourists with a view

This past Sunday, we dropped the guys off at LAX and then Mom took me on a drive around some LA tourist spots! We were driving around with all the other tourist buses seeing the sights! So funny/fun!

Labor Day


We had a nice relaxing Labor Day. Started off with grabbing doughnuts at a new favorite spot, Sidecar on 17th Street. The huckleberry is AMAZING!! 

And then Brody drive us to the back bay to eat them! : ) Such a beautiful day to explore the Back Bay trail a bit. 
The maple bacon wasn't as good as I had hopped, I see them everywhere. We each took a bit and that was about it. haha
