An area close to the famous surfing spot JAWS
At one of our stops we walked out to this little water fall and it started to rain a bit!
It was so fun! So we all huddled under a covered picnic area until it let up a bit (since the rains there come and go pretty quickly). : )
This dog appeared on our path out of nowhere and then went back into the bushes and sat down to watch all of us go by. He was pretty cute, and we were never sure if he belonged to anyone.
Brody taking a pic of beautiful little bay in Hana
We ate at this great little place in Hana and it rained on and off during our lunch.
We couldn't have asked for a better more beautiful setting to eat---and it was so fun to hear the rain on the patio roof above us! It was so peaceful and pretty!!
Another amazing waterfall on our drive out of Hana. We NEVER got tired of seeing these along the way!
How beautiful is this??
Lots of cute cows along the road...
We came across this 100 year old church on our drive out, and stopped to have a look.
Lauren taking a peek inside
Our trusty van that got us through quite a rough road for miles and miles (as you can see here)
The drive was pretty amazing. The landscape changed so many times from lush rainforest to dry and rocky, and the road was crazy windy with many blind turns, hills and dips.
It was a great adventure with such beautiful sights!
There was a lot of "wild life" along the trails.
I thought it was pretty funny to get the actual animal in the crossing sign, right by the crossing sign.
We figured he was crossing at the sign, just to be safe! ; )
We survived!! : )
That evening Brody and I had a little date night and ate at a place we remembered as "Cheese Burgers in Paradise"---but we found out this trip, it was called "Cheese Burgers Island Style"...
Either way, it is SO good!!
We brought back our cup from last year and got free drinks! : )
After our dinner we drove to a beach that we heard has an amazing view of the sunsets.
It didn't disappoint us and was the perfect ending to our little date night! : )
