"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Tour of California: Solvang time trials

Wow. Almost two weeks ago now, we went up to Solvang with my parents for the Tour of California time trials.

I was really excited to be in Solvang again, it's been years and years since I was last there. It's such a cute town, and I was excited to look around the town in the excitement of the race! : )

We got into town the night before and while we were driving by we saw all the Radio Shack cars at a hotel. We pulled off to have a closer look around.

Brody got to have a nice look into and a tour of one of the support vans!

A look at the town....

So cute huh? : )

Paul Sherwen, after signing Brodys shirt.

Such nice guys, it was a real treat to meet both him and Phil!

(Both of them do the commentary for The Tour de France and other cycling races)

Bet you didn't know that Brody won that day, huh? ; )

Walking through the fair they had set up. Lot's of sponsor booths and others, selling and giving things away.

Our spot to watch the race! It was perfect!

Right when they were making the push to the finish line.

We hung out at the Radio Shack camp for a bit, and got more free T-shirts.

I caught this one in the photo! : )

It was such a great trip!! Thanks for wanting to join us Mom and Dad. We love you!!

Pirates: On Stranger Tides, Black Carpet

We hit the Black Carpet for the world premiere of Pirates: On Stranger Tides a couple weeks ago.

Before the carpet started we went Celeb hunting with a good friend of ours who is well trained in the sport. : )

We found Jerry Bruckheimer and someone we didn't really know, but looked like one of the producers or directors.

After that we met Adam Sandler! He couldn't have been nicer but was with his family and didn't really want to be doing photos. So this is all I got. But our friend pushed a bit and got an OK photo with him. It was fun to meet him, and we saw him around the park more, on all the kiddy rides with his family. : )

My Pirate face with my new Pirates Mickey ears that they were handing out to everyone free!!

They were great quality too!
